Thank you for choosing our pet care services. The following terms and policies are designed to ensure a smooth, safe, and professional experience for both you and your pet. By booking any of our services - including dog walking, pet sitting, or in-home boarding - you agree to the conditions outlined below.
Booking & Meet and Greet
All services must be booked in advance via email, phone, or our booking system. We require a complimentary meet and greet prior to your first booking to get to know your pet, understand their routine, and ensure we are a good fit. We reserve the right to decline service if we believe the pet's needs fall outside the scope of what we can safely and confidently provide.
Cancellations
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before a scheduled visit are free of charge. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled service, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. No-shows are charged at the full service rate. For overnight care and holiday periods, we require at least 48-72 hours' notice to avoid a cancellation fee.
Payment Policy
Payment is due on or before the day of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment via [cash, bank transfer, credit/debit card, etc.]. Recurring clients may receive weekly or monthly invoices. Late payments may incur additional fees.
Pet Health & Behavior
All pets must be in good general health, current on vaccinations, and free from contagious parasites such as fleas or ticks. Clients must disclose any behavioral or medical issues, including fear, anxiety, aggression, or special care needs. We reserve the right to discontinue service at any time if a pet poses a risk to the sitter or to themselves.
Access to Your Home
For pet sitting and overnight care, clients may provide a physical key, code, or use a lockbox. All keys are stored securely and labeled without identifying information. We are not responsible for costs associated with lost keys or lockouts unless due to our negligence.
Safety During Walks
All dogs must wear a properly fitted collar or harness with a secure ID tag. Unless written consent is provided, all walks will be on-leash only. In extreme weather (heat, storms, snow), we may shorten or reschedule walks for safety reasons. You will be notified if adjustments are needed.
Boarding & Overnight Stays
For home boarding services, we accept a limited number of pets at a time to ensure individual attention and a calm environment. You are responsible for providing your pet's food, medications, and any comfort items (e.g., toys, bedding). Pick-up and drop-off services may be available for an additional fee and must be scheduled in advance.
Emergency Care
In the event of an emergency, we will make every effort to contact you first. If we cannot reach you, we will act in your pet's best interest and may take them to the nearest veterinary clinic. All veterinary costs are the responsibility of the pet owner.
Liability & Insurance
We are insured and bonded for all services provided. While every effort is made to ensure your pet's safety and well-being, we are not liable for illness, injury, loss, or death resulting from circumstances beyond our control. Clients accept full responsibility for any damage or harm caused by their pet to other animals, people, property, or the sitter.
Privacy & Data Protection
All client and pet information is kept strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties. We may use photos or videos of your pet for marketing purposes (e.g., social media or our website) unless you opt out in writing.
Termination
Either party may terminate the relationship with 24 hours' written notice. In cases of emergency, safety concerns, or misrepresentation of pet behavior, we reserve the right to terminate services immediately.
